ServiceRocket’s founder and longtime CEO defines leadership “as a journey and a craft, not just a task to complete.” A BSc in Computing Science from the University of Technology Sydney shaped his career. “I loved the support they gave me to work part time, study, work overseas, start a company and then graduate.

”Family is equally influential. “My parents and grandparents taught me the value of hard work and focusing on the internal reward.”

An avid amateur triathlete, Rob is an active member of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization and current president of its San Francisco chapter. A fan of guitarist Steve Vai, he enjoys instrumental guitar. “No words, just tones and pure expression. It lets me focus on coding and data without being distracted!”

With over thirty years experience in product and business development, sales and marketing, Peter has contributed to ServiceRocket’s growth across a range of leadership roles. “I'm helping grow a business that enables Rocketeers to learn and grow while they care for their families and give back to their communities.”

His early career in New York included work at The Public Theater and at Merrill Lynch. “I learned to see change as opportunity; new technologies, processes, objectives—even new colleagues—can be the wind that powers the next part of the journey.”

Peter enjoys bringing his creativity and visual problem-solving to local community projects. “We’re supporting local artists through social innovation and economic development.”

With a name to match her love of laughter, Joy contributes 20+ years experience to ServiceRocket’s executive team. She previously managed a range of projects and teams at Google where she also led multiple employee resource groups.

A member of the ACLU’s Finance and Investment Committee of Northern California, Joy’s mission is to “push people to their limits to achieve ultimate success and challenge cultural stereotypes.” Her advocacy looks to help companies move beyond corporate silos.

Joy looks forward to helping Rocketeers develop and grow their careers. “Profits are great, of course, but this company is not about ‘profits at any cost’. It’s awesome that it puts people first.” She enjoys spending time with her husband and son.

Azwandi’s long and fruitful career, from contributor to leader, reflects ServiceRocket’s  promise that enables Rocketeers to learn and grow. He’s committed to doing the same for his team. “Their success directly relates to our success as leaders—it’s a very rewarding experience.”

His passion, to build innovative products that help people better use technology, began early on as a developer and support engineer. Today, he leads a dynamic global product team focused on Accountable Innovation.

In his spare time Azwandi enjoys trips that explore culture and nature and is a devoted coffee maker. “It provides a much-needed break from the daily hustle and bustle and connects me with other Rocketeers; coffee brings a sip of joy to our day.”

An adventurous cook who experiments with flavor, Tami brings 20+ years experience in office management to ServiceRocket across accounting, architecture, market research and tech. “My goal is to always be a trusted partner, someone who provides steadfast support and expertise.”

She enjoys #SharingTheKnowledge, one of ServiceRocket’s five values, with both Rocketeers and clients alike. “I strive to provide accurate information, offer constructive feedback and maintain open lines of communication.”

For Tami, “Being a leader at ServiceRocket means I can rely on Rocketeers whose values deeply align with my own.” When she’s not whipping up culinary treats, Tami enjoys walks in the great outdoors with Auzi, her furry sidekick.

Studying business and economics in his home country of El Salvador, Rodrigo applied his financial skills in the telecommunications, airlines and advertising industries. He later earned his MBA in Chile, where he lives with his family.

Early on, he embraced the idea that “planning and projecting a company’s P&L is like holding its heart in one’s hands,” and considers it a privilege to know the ins and outs of ServiceRocket’s systems and data. “You become responsible for communicating and sharing this with the rest of the team.”

Rodrigo feels fortunate to have had excellent mentorship in his eight years at ServiceRocket. “It’s helped shape my view of life and work.” In his free time he enjoys discovering new music and sharing it with friends.

In his 10+ years at ServiceRocket YC has advanced to lead multiple operational roles. His contributions are informed by firsthand experience as a company co-founder. “It taught me the hard way about the importance of building products, not just software code.”

An earlier role with ServiceRocket’s customer support team was equally instructive. “Customers showed me the importance of time sensitivity, creative solutions, listening skills, and most of all, empathy.”

ServiceRocket’s Leadership Behaviors enable him to #TalkStraight. “They encourage us to speak up and sometimes be vulnerable.” An AOW (advanced open water) diver, YC also enjoys investing as a hobby. “It’s an effective way to shape my worldview and test my assumptions.”

An experienced general counsel, Catherine has 20+ years in law across public and private companies as well as non-profits and start up ventures. “Being in Silicon Valley in the late 1990s and early 2000s allowed me to work alongside some amazing minds both in the legal and tech space.”

Educated in Australia, she’s followed her professors’ advice. “They taught us to spread our wings and travel and learn. I still catch up with them when I visit my home state.”

A passionate volunteer, Catherine has served on many non-profit boards. “ServiceRocket actively encourages us to give back to the community.” She’s inspired by Atticus, the lawyer in To Kill a Mockingbird. “His values are the kind I hope to emulate.”

Adam’s personal philosophy promotes a healthy work life balance for the many Rocketeers he leads at ServiceRocket. His 30+ years in tech includes roles at Salesforce and Oracle as well as smaller companies such as Clarify and Saba.

A self-described atypical math major at Stanford, he studied art and history in Tours, France and remains a life-long learner. “It helps me adapt to the VUCA (volatile, uncertain, complex, ambiguous) world we live in and understand other people, perspectives and cultures.”

He finds ServiceRocket’s values align with his own beliefs, “particularly our brand promise, #We’veGotYourBack. Whether things are good or bad, Rocketeers know we’re here for each other, without any hidden agendas.”

An avid beach volleyball player in her free time, Kharisma loves to drive revenue growth with 20+ years of go-to-market sales and operations leadership. Her team of ServiceRocket sales professionals spans four continents. “We’ve built a global team of exceptional Rocketeers in offices that follow the sun and support our customers 24x7.”

A passionate problem solver, she has a genuine curiosity about how things work, why they succeed or fail and remains open to both. “Learning from either outcome is an important part of personal and professional growth.”

Kharisma is a proud member of the California Beach Volleyball Association. Her other passions include animal rescue. “It helps me provide a safe place where there wasn’t one before.”
