Rocketeer Nation: Under the Dome

“What’s in a name? That which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet.”

    -- William Shakespeare

The ServiceRocket blog, Under the Dome, refers to a unique gathering place. Located in our Palo Alto office, the Dome has hosted Halloween gatherings, the occasional guitar jam, all-hands meetings and game nights.

In fact, the image on our blog’s homepage marks a notable gathering there with one of our mentors, Geoffrey Moore, the author of Crossing the Chasm, among other books. He’s been a great inspiration to us.

These days, as the world copes with COVID, the Dome is mostly quiet, as are our nine physical offices around the world. No doubt, these gathering places will return to their former vibrancy.

We look forward to when we can join one another again in the same space.

Until then, the Dome serves as a kind of global umbrella that shelters our 300+ Rocketeers across five continents and 20 nationalities.

Wherever we work, our Rocketeer nation—including everyone, past and present, who has worked, partnered or done business with us—remains strong. We’re united by a common purpose that’s best expressed in one simple idea:

We’ve got your back.

We’re united in spirit, wherever we work.
