Despite the rapid adoption of AI across the Philippines, many teams still struggle to embed AI meaningfully into everyday work.
That's why ServiceRocket recently hosted Unleash Collective Knowledge with Rovo AI at BGC (Bonifacio Global City), Manila, to bridge this gap.
Around 75 developers and tech leaders gathered on a Friday afternoon to solve a very real problem they're wrestling with: turning Rovo AI agents into true teammates that can deliver real-world benefits.
Atlassian's Developer Advocate Ian Gil Ragudo, ServiceRocket's Director of Solution Architecture Belinda Tee and ServiceRocket Solution Architect Septa Cahyadiputra were on hand to bridge that gap, demonstrating how AI can make enterprises in the Philippines more efficient than before.

Rovo AI can streamline workflows and transform how knowledge is accessed and utilized across the enterprise, but correct implementation is key.
Here are what the experts shared in the talk:
1. Implement a System of Work: To integrate Rovo AI agents as teammates, enterprises must adopt an approach where strategy, planning, and knowledge are connected in a single ecosystem. As Belinda explained, it’s not just about adding a tool, but moving toward a system where AI understands the context of decisions and the rationale behind the work.
2. The Teamwork Graph needs good data: Rovo doesn't just look at files; it understands the "connective tissue" of an organization. However, it is only as good as the data it connects. This is why it's important to remove outdated or irrelevant data. It's also important to create a culture where data is available in the system and not buried in a paper notebook or in a tool disconnected from the system.
3. Rovo AI can break the search loop: Knowledge workers often waste time hunting for information buried in silos. Ian demonstrated how Rovo acts as a "searchable intelligence layer" across not just Atlassian products. This allows teams to find what they need in a snap without leaving their primary workspace.
4. From tool to AI-powered teammates: When implemented correctly, a Rovo AI teammate understands goals, identifies dependencies, and surfaces misalignment. Because it retains context, it also helps you to reason and make decisions more effectively.
5. Automate the repetitive: The event's highlight was a Rovo live demo where Ian showcased how a Rovo AI Agent can automate workflows. For example, he demonstrated how a Rovo agent can automatically generate release notes in Confluence the moment a sprint is closed in Jira, saving developers from one of their most tedious manual tasks.
The energy in the room peaked during the question-and-answer session, where attendees challenged the experts with real-world hurdles.
The questions asked were primarily focused on practical implementation, data organization and the technical integration of Rovo AI.

Septa detailed how ServiceRocket once built a Rovo AI agent that was integrated into Jira Service Management (JSM) to improve customer-facing support.
"We've seen this before; when you have an amazing knowledge base, ticket creation can actually drop by more than 50% compared to before," he said.
Meanwhile, developers in the room were highly interested in how Rovo interacts with their existing tech stack.
Many asked about the ability to build AI agents that could trigger notifications or summarize data across third-party systems.
The answer is yes.
Rovo comes with many out-of-the-box connectors, said Ian. And if one isn't available, Atlassian's development platform, Forge, can be used to build a custom Rovo agent that connects to third-party services.
Beyond the "how-to," attendees wanted to know what was required at the leadership level to make AI work and what organizational conditions were necessary for AI to truly improve teamwork in enterprises.
The key is that enterprises need to be equipped with enablement and adoption programs.
"Introducing tools like AI—it is not really one of those things that you can just play around with and all of a sudden it's great. You want to actually hand-hold your organization to be able to get the best value out of AI," said Belinda.
Integrating AI into an enterprise workflow requires moving beyond "tool thinking" toward a holistic System of Work where an enterprise aligns strategy, planning, and knowledge into a single, connected ecosystem.
With this, organizations can ensure that every team in the enterprise is moving toward the same goal.
